See Vedic Wisdom has been here since time immemorial. There is no fixed time as to when the knowledge began or started. It was not started by any one person alone. It was something that people got when they went deep into meditation.
Many Rishis meditated and when they meditated they heard something in the deep silence. Whatever they heard, they started saying it and asked somebody to note it down. This was then passed down from person to person by word of mouth - The Oral Tradition.
First Gurukul at Poojya Gurudev s House:Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth (our educational trust) in 1981, at Pitaji s home in Bangalore.Pitaji: Though we started Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth (our educational trust) in 1981, out of our home in Bangalore, it was a temporary arrangement. We soon moved to Gyan Mandir now our office, a house in the same vicinity. However, it was still too small to accommodate 185 boys and their 21 teachers. The difficulties we faced in the early stages were enormous, but everytime one came up , Guruji would say:come on, we will do it. This was the only thing that kept us going
